Soft ferrites are ferrimagnetic ceramics with a low remanence. They are, for example, used in ABS sensors in the automotive industry. The constituent materials need to be pre-sintered (calcination), then milled and pressed to shape before being sintered.

We supply milling media and refractories out of zirconia for this production process. It is important, that there is no material reaction and the material will stand up to the sintering temperature and furnace atmosphere.
