What are we doing in energy technology?

In power generation by gas turbines - as in an aircraft engine - bucket wheels mounted on a ring are charged with a burning, compressed gas-air mixture to produce the exhaust gas stream, which causes the shaft to rotate. This shaft drives a generator that produces electricity. Here nickel-cobalt alloys with a very high melting point are used, which have a high aggressiveness in the molten metal. When pouring these blades, no particles enter the product and the melting crucible provides multiple use. The needs are extremely high and require appropriate consumables.
